Expert Care For Little Ones

Wellness starts at birth

From those first sleepy newborn days to busy toddler years and beyond, your little one is constantly growing, learning, moving, and changing.

At BirthCo., pediatric chiropractic is one of our specialties. Our chiropractors have advanced training in caring for babies and children, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of growing bodies. We use gentle, age-appropriate techniques tailored to your child's individual stage of development, not a scaled-down version of adult care.

Newborns are adjusting to life outside the womb. Toddlers are learning to crawl, walk, climb, and explore. Older kids are running, playing sports, carrying backpacks, and discovering what their bodies can do.

Our goal is simple: to support your child's developing body + nervous system and help them move, grow, and thrive with confidence.

And just like with our moms, we're here to be part of your village - supporting your family through all the stages, big and small.

Why Parents Choose Pediatric Chiropractic

Kids are constantly growing, moving, learning, and adapting. From those first days of life to their busiest years, their bodies are going through a lot. At BirthCo., pediatric chiropractic focuses on supporting the spine and nervous system by identifying and addressing areas of restriction or nervous system interference that may impact how your child is moving and functioning.

The first year of life involves incredible growth and development. Birth can be physically stressful for babies, and many newborns benefit from gentle chiropractic adjustments to release tension and support proper development.

When the body and nervous system are functioning well, there are improvements in things like sleep, digestive comfort, behavior and focus, growing pains, headaches, and overall physical performance. For active kids, chiropractic can also be part of a bigger approach to supporting movement, mobility, and recovery.

What Makes Pediatric Chiropractic Different

At BirthCo., pediatric chiropractic is one of our specialties. Our chiropractors have advanced training in caring for babies and children, with an approach tailored to each stage of development.

Every adjustment is adapted to your child's age, size, development, and individual needs.

For babies, we use very gentle, age-appropriate contact and pressure. Their care is calm, simple, and tailored specifically to their tiny bodies.

For toddlers and young kids, care often looks a little different. We may use play, movement, conversation, or distraction to help them feel comfortable and engaged. We meet kids where they are—wiggles and all.

For older kids and teens, techniques are adapted as their bodies grow and develop. We take the time to explain what we're doing, answer questions, and make sure both you and your child feel comfortable with their care.

FAQ

When should I bring my newborn in?

The sooner, the better! We see babies as soon as a few days old. Many parents bring their newborns in within the first week of life, especially if there were birth complications or interventions.

Will adjustments hurt my child?

No. Pediatric adjustments are extremely gentle. Infants often fall asleep during or immediately after their adjustment. The amount of pressure used is the same as testing a fruit for ripeness!

Do you “crack” babies' necks?

No. Pediatric chiropractic care is not simply adult chiropractic care scaled down. We use techniques specifically adapted for babies and children, with the amount and type of contact determined by the child's age, development, and individual needs. There is no cracking, popping, or twisting for babies + infants.

Can my child be adjusted if they can't sit still?

Absolutely, we work with kids where they are. Depending on their age and personality, that might mean adjusting while they're playing, sitting with a parent, standing, or moving around. The goal is to make their experience comfortable and positive.

Do you see children with autism or disabilities?

Yes! We welcome children with autism, developmental differences, and disabilities. We take an individualized approach based on each child's age, needs, communication style, sensory preferences, and comfort level, adapting our approach to help them feel safe, supported, and respected throughout their visit.
