Crawling is a major milestone in baby’s development - neurologically it is hugely important for their brain.🧠
The left and right sides of the brain are connected by the corpus callosum and cross crawling is the first time where kiddos begin to create neural circuits between the two sides of the brain.
This develops motor and perceptive balance that they will use for the rest of their lives.
Crawling also develops hip sockets, strengthens neck, back, leg and arm muscles, gross motor skills, core strength, touch, and vision.
If you know a child struggling to meet this milestone please send them our way so we can help! Pediatric chiropractic can help with proper biomechanics, coordination, and development.
